WGS Group closed the deal on purchase of ISNEXT business.
WGS Group completed the process of acquiring the largest Russian online retailer of auto parts and auto components, operating under the brand ISNEXT. The purchase of the business will enable WGS group not only to increase the potential of its own railway logistics system, but also to restart a large-scale federal project, ensuring smooth service for the permanent ISNEXT customers and the fulfillment of obligations for partners.
During the negotiations, the parties have agreed the procedure of the new operating structure of ISNEXT, which will be totally implemented by February 1, 2018. By this time, the supply contracts will be resigned and warehouse stocks of spare parts will be refilled, flexible system of pricing and discounts will be introduced , the clients of the company will be offered the most convenient and functional service with guaranteed safety of their funds kept at their personal accounts.
Alexey Shumkov, shareholder and CEO of WGS Group Management Company said: “The decisions taken allow us to keep the existing ISNEXT staff and restart the business shortly. In 2018 ISNEXT intends to increase its footprint in the regions, increasing of sales offices and auto components pick-up points up to 200 across the country. Next year we will also launch ISNEXT franchise, as even today we see interest in it .”
We should remind that as a result of the transaction, WGS Group acquires retailer business, including 103 stores and spare parts pick-up points throughout the country, online trading system with more than 600,000 active users, and an innovative warehouse terminal in the Moscow Region with a total area of 17,000 square meters.
